The Annapurna Circuit Trek offers breathtaking views of mountains and terraced fields, meticulously carved out of the lowland hillsides. The variation of the terrain and the surroundings as you gain altitude certainly compensates for the effort.
It is a well-known classic trek among the top 10 in the world. Hiking around the entire Annapurna Massif is unforgettable through the deep valleys, such as the world’s deepest Kali Gandaki gorge, and over the highest pass Thorong La (5,416m). Surrounded by high mountains, you can enjoy amazing mountain vistas such as from the open valley of Manang.
Note that crossing the pass can be difficult or impossible if there is deep, soft snow on the pass. Such conditions can be expected from January to March and often longer.
